A-Levels are subject-based qualifications typically taken by students

KS5 (Key Stage 5 / A Levels) — Ages 16–18 (Years 12–13) In-depth study of 4 subjects. The main emphasis is on critical analysis, independent research, and university preparation.

From Year 12 to Year 13

KS5 is the stage of academic specialisation and intensive preparation for admission to the world’s top universities.

Students aged 16–18 select 3–4 subjects for in-depth study and sit A-Level examinations. These results are recognised by the majority of leading universities in the UK, USA, Canada, Europe, Australia and many other countries.

Final grades are awarded on a five-point scale from A* (excellent) to E (unsatisfactory).

These grades are the main criterion used by university admissions committees when making enrolment decisions.

To increase your chances of admission to a highly competitive university, please remember that admissions committees assess candidates holistically — not only on academic results, but also on extracurricular and personal achievements (success in olympiads, sports competitions, scientific conferences, contests, creative portfolios, volunteering, and more).

The school strongly recommends that you carefully and well in advance study the current admission rules of the specific university and programme (faculty) you are targeting. Only then can you properly and timely prepare the strongest possible application package.
