Alyona Agaronyan — Music Teacher
My name is Alyona, and I was born and raised in Yerevan. I graduated from the Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas, where I studied Performing Arts with a focus on vocal performance. During my studies, I had the opportunity to teach college students and later continued working as a vocal teacher for four years, specialising in jazz and pop vocals. Alongside teaching, I actively performed on various stages across Armenia, often collaborating with jazz orchestras.
These experiences deepened my love for music and my desire to inspire young learners to find their own creative voice. I believe that music education should be joyful, inspiring and accessible. In my classroom, I aim to create a supportive space where children feel free to explore sound, rhythm and voice, even if they are just starting their musical journey. Every child has something unique to offer, and I’m here to guide them in discovering it. In addition to singing, I play the piano and violin, enjoy songwriting, and love learning about different musical cultures. I’m very happy to be joining the International School of St Petersburg and I look forward to growing together with my students this year.
