Anna Batova — music teacher

I received my B.A degree in Performing Arts, Music, at the Saint-Petersburg conservatory.
In September 2009 I became a teacher of music at the Insight, where I led the school choir, prepared students for concerts and shows and took music lessons.
In 2022, I joined the Russian-Chinese Academic choir and symphony orchestra as a choir conductor. The choir has successfully performed at the Big Hall of the Saint-Petersburg Philharmonic, the State Capella of Saint-Petersburg and some chamber concert halls of our city.
Singing is the foundation of my musical identity.
I have a broad portfolio encompassing one-to-one teaching, group coaching, teaching children, adults, training singers, as well as leading amateur and professional choirs.
I have over fifteen years’ experience as a teacher and choir conductor working with individual singing students and with school choirs. This allows me to provide quality singing training to students that will enable them to hear their voices grow to their full potential.
It is also very important to create a friendly atmosphere in the classroom and select the right repertoire for the students to help them build skills and confidence.
In my spare time, I try to visit the Mariinsky or Capella where I enjoy listening to great singers, choirs or symphony orchestras!.
I am so excited to start teaching at The International School of Saint- Petersburg.
I am always proud of my students when they demonstrate great performances! I hope to keep the students motivated to do their best and will be very happy to celebrate their success!
