Ekaterina Kurdyumova - Teaching Assistant
I was born in Kirov and lived in Kazan before moving to Saint Petersburg. I played percussion and drums in an orchestra for eight years, which gave me the wonderful opportunity to travel to various countries across Europe for competitions. After encountering English-speaking cultures, I grew fond of studying English, which eventually led me to pass the FCE exam in 2017 and start my teaching journey.
I initially studied Oriental Studies at Kazan Federal University, specializing in Korean History and the Korean language. However, following my dream, I decided to enroll in the Roerich Art School in Saint Petersburg, where I pursued a degree in Graphic Design.
I have a profound love for children and a deep commitment to teaching. Engaging with young learners brings me immense joy, as I cherish the opportunity to inspire their curiosity and creativity. I believe that education is a powerful tool for shaping the future, and I strive to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to explore their potential.
I am truly thrilled to expand upon my knowledge and advance my work at the International School of St Petersburg. It’s inspiring to be part of such a skilled team where we can exchange ideas and collaborate to support the children’s growth. My goal is to foster an outstanding learning environment for the students at ISSPB as a Teaching Assistant. I’m excited for the wonderful year ahead!
