Catherine Novikova — teaching assistant

Hello, my name is Catherine. I completed my bachelor degree at the State Pedagogical University of A.I. Herzen. 

My teaching career began almost eight years ago. I really enjoy working with children and love to share my knowledge with them. I always try to create a positive atmosphere during lessons, to find an individual approach to each child and observe how they express their inner potential through dance and movement. 

While pursuing my basic general education, I studied choreography during my early years and then focused on contemporary dance after graduating from the pedagogical university. I was fortunate enough to work with top choreographers and dancers from Russia, Europe, America and Israel. I have participated in international dance projects and festivals and took an internship in dance companies in Israel and Germany. I am passionate about contemporary dance and it always pushes me to learn something new. 

I am happy to be a part of the ISSPb team, to work with real professionals who inspire children to gain new knowledge and reveal their best sides.
