IGCSE & A-Level Examination fees

The International School of Saint Petersburg (ISSPb) is an official LRN examination centre. Learning Resource Network (LRN) is an international examination and accreditation organization operating in Russia, which develops and awards IGCSE and A Level qualifications to schools. Certificates issued by LRN are recognized by schools and higher education institutions worldwide.

Examination Fees for External Candidates (GCSE and A Level)

Examination entry fee (per 1 academic subject) – GCSE:   18,500 rubles.

Note: The academic subject Combined Science is counted as two academic subjects. Therefore, registration for the Combined Science examination is carried out twice, and the entry fee is charged for two academic subjects accordingly.

Examination entry fee (per 1 academic subject) – A Level:    27,500 rubles.

In the event of registration within 30 (thirty) calendar days after the standard entry deadline (late entry), the examination fee shall be increased by 5,000 rubles.

In the event of registration within 30 (thirty) calendar days after the late entry deadline (high late entry), the examination fee shall be increased by 10,000 rubles.

Coursework & Practical Assessment Requirements

To be admitted to examinations in practice-based subjects (e.g. Art & Design), candidates must:

  • be enrolled in the school from the beginning of the academic year;
  • develop a portfolio throughout the course of study;
  • complete internal assessment of portfolio work prior to submission of the externally set assignment.

Registration for practical examinations immediately prior to the examination session is not permitted, as the final grade is based on continuous assessment and accumulated performance.
