Kseniya Krimskaya — teaching assistant

My language journey started when I was a child. My mother taught me French from a very early age, then I studied English and Finnish. I fell in love with the English and the culture of English-speaking countries. While learning, I communicated with people from all over the world. I am certain that it was the most valuable and motivating experience. I am fascinated by the opportunities provided by intercultural communication.

Years later I realised the potential and importance of early language learning based on my own experience. That is how I decided to become a teacher.

I graduated from Herzen State Pedagogical University with a bachelor of Early Language Education. I believe that children at an early age can learn as much as possible. The process of their upbringing and laying the foundation for their future is inspiring. Seeing the children’s joy of learning encourages me a lot.

I started my career as an English teacher four years ago. As a teacher, I try to convey the idea that foreign language is the way of thinking, because I am convinced that the best method to learn something is to put it into practice. During lessons, I always connect school subjects to real life. I’m excited about being able to deliver my experience to students at ISSPb.
