Zoya Rudko — instrumental teacher
My teaching career began twelve years ago after graduating from the Music Academy when I started actively combining it with performances. Thanks to the experience of working in South Korea, I gained an interest in learning new cultural traditions which subsequently reflected in my desire to study again. In 2016, I became a Gaude Polonia scholarship holder, which made it possible to intern at one of the most prestigious European Music Universities (UMFC). Over the years of study and teaching, together with my students, I repeatedly took part in international music forums, festivals, competitions and masterclasses. In my spare time, I like jogging, swimming, yoga.
It is difficult to imagine life without music, it penetrates almost all areas of the modern world, affects our emotional state, as well as inspires and promotes the development of empathy, imagination and creative thinking, and public speaking gives strength and confidence. Music is a magical world where everyone speaks the same language of enchanting sounds that exist outside of time and space!
I am glad I can share my knowledge and skills with young talent and I am grateful to The International School of St Petersburg for the opportunity to help catapult them into the magical world of musical beauty!
